Our scallop shell pendants are made with real shells.  We create a copper frame around the shell by a process called copper electroforming.

The shells range from black to light pinkish/orange. The shell is sold separately from the chain. Please choose your preferred colour as well as the desired chain you want to hang your scallop on.

You can also create a charm necklace by adding gemstone-, initial- or copper charms.

Please allow 3-5 working days for your shell to be electroformed.

All jewellery comes beautifully packaged in a jewellery box with gemstone info card and care guide. 

The gemstones we use are raw and unpolished, so they might have some” imperfections”. (In our opinion it adds to the beauty and individuality of each piece!) 

Jewellery pieces are created by a process called copper electroforming, which allows for the deposition of copper electrolytes over several hours in a copper/acid solution. This results in unique and unpredictable textures, as the entire process is organic.

Please be aware that the colour of copper darkens over time, and the item can be cleaned using a sachet of Copperbrite and a soft cloth, available here: Copperbrite and/or polishing cloth – Down to Earth Jewellery ) Copper can potentially turn the skin green as it reacts with the chemicals in some skins. A coat of clear nail polish will prevent this.
