About Rose Quartz:
Known as the stone of love, this pretty pink member of the quartz family is not only one of the most durable substances on earth, but also IN the earth’s crust too! Beads dating back to 6 000 BC has been discovered, proving its hardiness.
As the name implies, this variety of quartz varies from a very light to a rich and rosy pink. Legend has it that Aphrodite, goddess of love, had a soft spot for the handsome Adonis. She therefore asked him not to go on a hunt, but her request was denied. Adonis was injured and when rushing to his death bed, Aphrodite pricked herself on a thorny bush, her blood intertwined with that of Adonis and coloured a quartz stone to rosy pink.

Symbolism:
Referred to as the stone of unconditional love, Rose Quartz is believed to encourage new relationships for the lonely, to restore and rekindle all existing relationships and to promote self-love and self-acceptance. It is also thought to be great for stress release and a calming presence. Healing benefits not only include emotional, but also physical healing.
About Druzy:
The sparkling Druzy quartz forms as a coating of minute quartz crystals on the exterior of another stone. The attraction of this stone, with its sugar-like appearance, lies in the dazzling effect created when it catches rays of sunlight. It is formed when silica-rich groundwater deposits minerals onto the surface of a rock. When the water evaporates, rapid cooling occurs, which causes the creation of tiny crystals. These clear crystals are thousands of years in the making and often form on top of previously deposited minerals as a secondary coating.
Symbolism
Sometimes referred to as the ‘stone of stardust’, this multitude of tiny crystals emerging together symbolises harmony, unity, patience and peace. It also represents balance and emotional strength to embrace one’s shining qualities while avoiding negativity and self-doubt.
As the reflective surface of the stone reminds us of a mirror, Druzy is also believed to represent self-awareness, awareness of truth, and, ultimately, enlightenment.
