About Red Garnet:

As garnets were thought to resemble the seeds of the pomegranate, the word is derived from its Latin name. Garnet is a stone with a long history, dating as far back as 3 800 BC. The gemstone was used in Ancient Egyptian art and jewellery and it was valued as sacred by the Native American Indians, the South American Indians, the African tribal elders, the Mayans and the Aztecs.

Garnets come in a wide variety of colours, the most famous colour being deep red or the pyrope garnet.

Symbolism:

Over the years, garnets have been symbols of love, passion, peace, devotion, constancy, compassion, health and deep-rooted friendship. It is also believed to enhance creativity and imagination. Especially in Ancient times, it was also seen as protection for travellers and soldiers alike.

Natural gemstones, copper.

Each gemstone measures around 6-8mm, and the total length of the earrings is approximately 4.5cm.

The earrings are made from copper, plated with rose gold, ensuring they are hypoallergenic. Copper allergies are extremely rare, making these earrings a safe and stylish choice for most people.

We embrace the raw and unpolished nature of our gemstones, which may show some "imperfections." We believe these add to the beauty and individuality of each piece!

Our jewellery is created using a process called copper electroforming. This technique involves depositing copper electrolytes over several hours in a copper/acid solution, resulting in unique and organic textures

Home Remedies: You'll also find numerous home remedies online for cleaning copper jewellery. Lemon juice is our personal favourite! Simply apply lemon juice, rince and dry.

Furthermore, with regular wear and handwashing, copper tends to naturally regain its shine.
