The rectangles are 35mm x 25mm and have large gemstones (12mm -14mm) set in copper in the centre. The chain (Included) is a oval link chain that extends from 60cm to cm. It has a lobster clasp. The hexagon and earring hooks are solid copper and is rose gold plated to preserve the finish. They are therefore hypoallergenic.

About Red Garnet:

As garnets were thought to resemble the seeds of the pomegranate, the word is derived from its Latin name. Garnet is a stone with a long history, dating as far back as 3 800 BC. The gemstone was used in Ancient Egyptian art and jewellery and it was valued as sacred by the Native American Indians, the South American Indians, the African tribal elders, the Mayans and the Aztecs.

Garnets come in a wide variety of colours, the most famous colour being deep red or the pyrope garnet.
