Natural red garnet and copper ear climber stud. Simply thread the stud part through the ear, position in place, and give a gentle squeeze to secure. Either buy as a pair or as singles for your right or left ear.

Material

Dimensions are: 22mm long, and a 5mm gap for the earlobe. The gemstones are 3-5mm.

Copper is a natural antibacterial agent, and the wearing of copper jewellery is considered to have a therapeutic effect on the human body.

The gemstones we use are raw and unpolished, so they might have some” imperfections”. (In our opinion it adds to the beauty and individuality of each piece!)

Jewellery pieces are created by a process called copper electroforming, which allows for the deposition of copper electrolytes over several hours in a copper/acid solution. This results in unique and unpredictable textures, as the entire process is organic.

Copper can potentially turn the skin green as it reacts with the chemicals in some skins. A coat of clear nail polish will prevent this.

The gemstone was used in Ancient Egyptian art and jewellery and it was valued as sacred by the Native American Indians, the South American Indians, the African tribal elders, the Mayans and the Aztecs.
