Natural aquamarine and copper ear climber stud. Simply thread the stud part through the ear, position in place, and give a gentle squeeze to secure. Either buy as a pair or as singles for your right or left ear.
Natural gemsones and copper.
Dimensions are: 22mm long, and a 5mm gap for the earlobe. The gemstones are 3-5mm.
Copper is a natural antibacterial agent, and the wearing of copper jewellery is considered to have a therapeutic effect on the human body.
The gemstones we use are raw and unpolished, so they might have some” imperfections”. (In our opinion it adds to the beauty and individuality of each piece!)
Jewellery pieces are created by a process called copper electroforming, which allows for the deposition of copper electrolytes over several hours in a copper/acid solution. This results in unique and unpredictable textures, as the entire process is organic.
Copper can potentially turn the skin green as it reacts with the chemicals in some skins. A coat of clear nail polish will prevent this.
Natural gemstones and copper
The 5 gemstones per earring, ranges from 3-4mm. They are raw and unpolished, so you might notice a few “imperfections”—but we believe these only add to the beauty and individuality of each creation!
They are 22mm long and have a 5mm gap for the earlobe. Simply thread the stud part through the ear, position in place, and give a gentle squeeze to secure.
Each jewellery piece is crafted using copper electroforming, a process where copper is deposited over several hours in a copper-acid solution. This organic process results in wonderfully unique and unpredictable textures.
Since the earring is made of solid copper, it’s hypoallergenic. Copper allergies are extremely rare, making these earrings a safe and stylish choice for most people.
While copper can sometimes cause the skin to turn green due to a reaction with certain skin types, this isn’t harmful and can easily be prevented with a coat of clear nail polish
About Aquamarine:
Due to its blue-green colour, aquamarine derives its name from aqua marina which means “sea water” in Latin. Aquamarine is from the beryl family and jewellery has been found that dates as far back to 500 BC. It was also the eighth foundation stone in the wall of the New Jerusalem, as it was believed to guard against injury during battle.
Once believed to be a precious treasure from mermaids, sailors have also worn aquamarine amulets to keep them safe at sea and ward of seasickness.
Birthstone: One of the birthstones for March (with bloodstone)
Anniversary stone: 19th
Symbolism:
Aquamarine is believed to be a symbol of inner courage and personal development. In turn, this alignment with oneself creates empathy and kindness which aids friendship, trust and faithfulness. Aquamarine is also associated with tranquillity, serenity, clarity, tolerance and harmony. It embodies youthful vitality, purity, loyalty, hope, and truth.

We recommend these methods for cleaning:
-
Copperbrite: Our preferred option for cleaning is Copperbrite, which you can find available here. This specialized solution effectively restores the shine of your copper jewellery.
-
Home Remedies: You'll also find numerous home remedies online for cleaning copper jewellery. Lemon juice is our personal favourite! Simply apply lemon juice, rince and dry.
Furthermore, with regular wear and handwashing, copper tends to naturally regain its shine.
